Revision3 is the first media company that gets it, born from the Internet, on-demand generation. Unlike aggregators, mash-ups, and user-generated video sites, Revision3 is an actual TV network for the web, creating and producing its own original, broadcast quality shows.

The company was founded in 2005 by technology visionaries Kevin Rose, Jay Adelson, Dan Huard, Ron Gorodetzky, and David Prager, because they couldn't find anything they wanted to watch on traditional television, and is now led by Internet TV pioneer Jim Louderback.

The content is designed for a new audience: passionate committed fans who want to watch shows that entertain, educate and help expand their life experiences. The audience expects professionally produced programming but wants it to be unexpected, edgy, smart and real. They also want to watch shows whenever they want, wherever they are, and on whatever device they choose, including everything from a 70" HDTV to an iPod or Cell phone. Revision3 covers technology, comedy, modern culture, music and more. Our hosts don't come from Hollywood. Instead, they come from the same passionate fan base as our audience. They are engaging, personal, smart and connected - experts with the insight and acceptance that naturally puts them at the center of the community.

Revision3's shows can be found everywhere from Revision3.com to a wide range of traditional and new platforms, including iTunes, Bittorrent, DivX, YouTube, PyroTV and more. We will work with almost any distribution platform, using every video encoding format available, including flash, H.264 and others. We want our content accessible to the greatest possible audience, on as many devices and networks as possible.

Revision3 has attracted a wide-range of top advertisers including Sony, Netflix, Dolby, Microsoft, IBM, HP, Southern Comfort, Virgin America, Verizon and FX Networks. Advertisers enjoy a unique bond with the audience via customized message integration and host mentions that deliver phenomenal results. Our clutter-free environment is perfect for everything from direct response to branding.

The power of our unique sponsorship model applies to a wide range of marketing efforts, from customer acquisition to driving awareness and sales. These are just a few of the many success stories from our happy clients.

Adagio Teas: This high-end tea company sells loose-leaf tea at its website Adagio.com. After one of the Diggnation hosts mentioned the tea on air, sales spiked. Adagio then worked with Revision3 to create a gifts set of Diggnation-branded tea tins, featuring the hosts on the packaging. During three episodes of Diggnation, the hosts drank Adagio tea and discussed the special gift sets. Adagio rang up $100,000 worth of sales that were directly linked to the Diggnation sponsorship, a 25% increase. "You think of Web 2.0 ideas being on the fringe," says Adagio co-founder Michael Cramer. "But this just blew us away."

Verizon VCast: As part of its launch of a mobile phone-based streaming video service, Verizon sponsored Diggnation. As part of the sponsorship, the hosts interacted with the VCast service during an episode, and discussed how the service worked and what it did. Awareness skyrocketed. According to Amanda Donelly, the Media Supervisor at Verizon's agency Moxie Media, the results were "seriously way better than we had ever anticipated".

CacheFly: This small webhosting company was trying to break through the clutter in a crowded market. CacheFly became a network sponsor with Revision3, and its messages were embedded into shows across our wide range of programming. The sponsorship was extremely successful, leading to a big spike in both sales and awareness. "Diggnation is by far our most effective advertising we've done," said Matt Levine, the CTO of Cachefly. "Revision 3 really put us on the map, it gave us name recognition we simply couldn't have achieved otherwise."

Revision3 is dedicated to creating an effective communications bridge between our sponsors and our audience. We do this by integrating all ad messages into the content of a show. This method creates highly customized messages that are never skipped over. Additionally we limit the number of advertisers per episode to 3 guaranteeing a clutter free, advertiser friendly environment.

The results of our approach are phenomenal. In a recent viewer survey 85% of viewers could accurately name 2 sponsors and 65% could name 3 in an UNAIDED question. Microsoft Zune was identified as a sponsor by 35% of the respondents even though the survey was conducted a full 30 days after the Zune campaign had run.

Revision3's integrated sponsorship format makes ads memorable, and the viewers respond.
