Baccano! is a sixteen episode anime series directed by Takahiro Omori. The first thirteen episodes aired in Japan in 2007. It's a crazy story about alchemists who find a way to create an immortality elixir and wind up losing it to members of the mafia in 1930 New York. There the story pick up a large number of additional cast members for a solid, if unorthodox story.
