Genshiken 2 is the continuation of an anime based on a manga series by Shimoku Kio about a college club for otaku and the lifestyle its members pursue. The second season of 12 episodes, Directed by Kinji Yoshimoto, sees Sasahara become club president and try to adjust when the members of Genshiken are accepted to the ComiFes and at the same time deal with the new otaku-hating member Ogiue.?
