With Pandora, Slacker Radio, and LastFM becoming the standard for listening to your favorite tunes, Grooveshark attempts to give you - the listener/broadcaster - even more control of what you listen to. Grooveshark is a great music streaming service with a lot going on for just $3 a month. Check out this review to see whether Grooveshark is worth your subscription, or if you just get what you pay for.

Version 2.0.2 | Developed by Escape Media Group Inc. | 3.77MB | Free trial, $3/mo.
PROS:
- Cheap monthly subscription
- Impressive catalog of songs
- Lots of user control
- Strong community services
- All in one app for sharing and obtaining music
CONS:
- Low bitrate files
- Complicated for the average user
- Radio service needs work
Although the files are compressed into 64k mono files, this app has a great catalog of songs and is a solid replacement for whatever streaming service of media marketplace you currently use. Try out Grooveshark with a free trial and let us know what you think!
