Google recently introduced Google Goggles to Android phone users which introduces the world to visual search and it's gonna blow your mind.
Recently, Google announced and released the first version of Google Goggles and I was inundated with people e-mailing me about how cool it looked. So we immediatey downloaded it to play with it and see just what Google came up with. Many people compared it to Augmented Reality applications, and while Google Goggles does have that, it's the power of the visual search that makes this special. By scanning a photo on your phone, you can search Google. No need to type anything - just point, shoot and search. Throw in some character recognition for scanning business cards and you've got a pretty nifty applicaiton.
