Numerous AppJudgment Android viewers wrote in and asked about Instant Messaging clients, so we take a look at Meebo and Mundu IM to handle all your chat needs.
Having a high speed data connection on your smartphone opens all sorts of doors for the types of applications you can use, including the world of Instant Messaging. With numerous IM clients out there, like AIM, or Yahoo Chat, or G Talk from Google, having one app that lets you chat to everyone on your buddy list, regardless of platform is key. Meebo is a leader in chat on the desktop and a pioneer in the Android app field, whereas Mundu IM is a new IM client aimed just at mobile phones. How do they stack up against one another?

CONS:

While Meebo is the established leader in the chat world, Mundu gives it a run for its money with Twitter updates integration and multiple chat management. However, with a lack of Facebook integration, list filtering/collapsing and a hefty $11 price tag, don't download this app. Meebo is also missing some bells and whistles including the option to update Twitter and send files through IM, but still gets the download judgment.
