It's springtime - love season! - so today we're looking at StreetSpark, a new application for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad that bills itself as a "Foursquare for dating".
Using a basic list or an augmented reality view, StreetSpark uses your location to locate matches in your area, based on profile information that you fill out - details both about yourself and your ideal match. From there, you can view basic information about other users, including their distance from you, photo and basic details. You can then "ignite" a spark with that person, and once you're both ignited, you can view their complete profile and strike up a chat.
So if you're looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right (or Right Now), Streetspark is free at the app store.
