With so many free texting apps available at the App Store, why has TextNow risen to the top? It's not free and you can't text in groups, but it does have one serious advantage: Google Voice Integration!
Way back in the fall of '09, we covered Gogii textPlus - a free application for the iPhone and iPod touch that lets users send unlimited free texts, in groups, and internationally. For anyone using a third-party texting app to circumvent or offset AT&T data costs, it's hard to top Gogii. So why has Enflick's TextNow priced at $.99 emerged as the 27th most-purchased app in the App Store? Annie has the low down!
