Developers are raising the bar with the quality of MMOFPS, and Archetype for the iPhone is no exception! Can a Halo-esque mobile shooter really be all that great? Hell yes.
Archetype for the iPhone is a very Halo and Gears of War-esque team deathwatch game - humans fighting off an alien invasion of sorts. But with ridiculous graphics and smooth controls, including impressive gyroscopic control implementation, in-game and Facebook social features, along with frequent, fat updates... Jackie goes through the world of Archetype and gives you the download judgment!

Version 1.3.2 | Developed by Villain LLC | 70.7 MB | $2.99
PROS:
- Immediately engaging
- Large community
- Great graphics
- Controls well
- Custom match lengths
- Newest technology implementations
CONS:
- Bit pricey (worth it)
- Big app (worth it)
- The most recent update canceled out all the cons!
After doing some serious internal debating, and a little Indian giving... we recommend that you absolutely download Archetype. Why not? The developers are obviously on top of what consumers want and are willing to implement some major upgrades to accommodate us.
