GV Mobile vs. Google Voice for the iPhone

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 – running time 06:08
It's Google Voice, the HTML5 mobile app vs. GV Mobile, the jailbroken Google Voice app!

Segments

Google Voice has been in Apple app store limbo for months now. It's neither been approved, nor formally denied. In the meantime, developer Sean Kovacs has given us a free version of Google Voice called GV mobile, and Google themselves have officially given us Google Voice via their HTML5 web application. Today on AppJudgment, Mauricio Balvanera takes a look at both, side by side, and gives you his judgment on which comes out looking the shiniest.

Pros, Cons & Final Judgment

Despite the comical inaccuracies of the text transcriptions, Google Voice is a definite download! GV Mobile is no slacker, either. With their most recent update, you can have transcribed voicemails just like Google Voice does for just $1.99.
