The Website Updates Roll On

February 11th, 2008 at 05:19 by Ron Richards in Website

There’s nothing better than starting the week to some changes and improvements to the website of your favorite Internet TV network. And on this Monday, we strive to give you the very best in your Internet TV viewing experience and are happy to share with you some small changes and updates we’ve made to the site:

  • Blog RSS Feed - Obviously, since you’re reading this post, you like our blog. Well now it’s easy to subscribe to it in your favorite RSS Reader or RSS aggregator. Just look for the RSS icon in the upper right of the page on any blog post and take that RSS URL and subscribe to it in your application of choice!
  • More Info on the Just Released Page – A small change, but one that many of you asked for, on the ever popular Just Released page, we’ve added the release date and time to this page.
  • Downloading Specific Episodes – Many of you sent in feedback that you were having a hard time finding where to download a specific episode. So we’ve expanded that box by default on the episode pages, so now the various file formats available for direct download or bittorrent are available for your downloading pleasure!
  • Top Navigation – We’ve been working on some bugs with our top navigation, mainly the way the drop downs interact when they drop down on a page with the flash player. That bug has been fixed, so you shouldn’t see any problems. We’ve also added a slim login box along the top, which is currently only working in Firefox, but we’ll be rolling this out for Internet Explorer and Opera soon.

Like I said, small changes but it’s important to note that many of these changes, as well as other ones we have in the queue, were the result of YOUR feedback. We’re reading any and all blog comments, forum posts and direct emails and using that to help us prioritize our development. So please, keep the feedback coming!

thanks.

There are still some “remember me” cookie issues I think. It seems like the site will remember me for a few hours but then it forgets and I have to re-login. I’m using the latest firefox for XP.

Things look great. I have only recently found revision3, and am glad did as it is where many of my TechTV Geek Idols seemed to have coalesced, and I am finding new shows with new people to help me get my Geek on. I is very happy. Good going people!!!

Thanks a lot for all the hard work you provide, the site looks stunning, I love the redesign and the show pages. I’m looking forward to see even more improvements ;)
    Just a few notices:
    - the menu doesn’twork well on this page with opera 9.25 & Vista
    - Reading a post, the link to the RSS feed points to http://revision3.com/blog/tag//feed which doesn’t provide any feed.

    Good luck
