Best Of Revision3 Launches Today

on March 12th, 2008 at 03:17 pm by Jim Louderback in Announcements, Shows

With the launch of our 13th weekly show (popSiren), along with our two daily showlets (Tekzilla Daily and Lil’ Internet Superstar), we’re pumping out more than eight hours of quality entertainment and information each week.

For those of you out there watching it all, I love you to death, but you can stop reading now. This announcement is not for you. But for everyone else who might have one or two favorite programs, and always wanted to watch more, I’m happy to announce a cool new feature here at Revision3.

It’s called “Best of..” and it’s our very own collection of the best clips from each of our shows. Every day we’ll be selecting the choicest segments from the previous day’s releases, and putting them into a special place here at Revision3.com. Even better, you can also subscribe to our Best Of just as if it were an actual show. That way you’ll automatically get our best clips delivered to your PC, your AppleTV, your Zune, or really anywhere.

There’s always something cool and new in our Best Of.. area here on the web, so make sure you stop back every day. And if you find something you really like, then watch the whole show. And don’t forget to subscribe to the ones that really catch your fancy, then you’ll never miss a single episode.

You guys are going crazy with all these shows, you should just put all your resources into 2 or 3 and make them look even 10% as good as regular broadcast networks

I realize your entire companies funding is less than 1 episode’s budget for ER, I also realize tech programming isn’t very popular and you guys are struggling for money, but the quality really needs to be picked up.

FWIW, I enjoy Diggnation and some Tekzilla.

P.S. I’m one of those who watch all the shows… :D
P.S.S. thebroken could be brought back.. Just throwing that out there. :))

Jamie8, I’d say these are looking more than 10% as good as Network shows. What are you looking for, special effects?

It’s quality of content that matters, and Rev3 has that in spades.

esophagus, you clearly haven’t been watching network television lately.. all the revision3 shows combined wouldn’t be as good as lost, battlestar galactica, dexter, jericho, CSI, or dare i say american idol

it might look 10% as good as my local news but the big networks have some really quality stuff being produced

and i beg to differ about the content part, a lot of these shows are the exact same thing with different hosts.. weekly tech news and reviews.. seriously, 2 or 3 shows is enough.

    diggnation
    tekzilla
    totally rad show

    ditch everything else, nobody cares.

    Jamie8,
Huh?.. WTF, how are you comparing BSG, Dexter, jericho, CSI or american Idol to the content of Rev3??? Its like saying GMC needs to concentrate on Jetliners, because Jetliners are so much better than cars.

The quailty of the shows, as in how good it looks on my TV, is awesome. Better than any of those other shows.

As far as content, BSG is great (other than the fact is unavailable to actually watch right now). But like I said, apples and oranges.

American Idol, I would watch my least favorite Rev 3 show before I would watch American Idol.

<— somebody who cares. Don’t ditch the other shows

why wouldnt i compare them? they are all shows. i would be wrong if i were comparing rev3 to feature-length movies, but im not.

it is only apples and oranges in the sense that broadcast shows are actual quality shows and rev3 shows are not

and about the picture quality, rev3 HD is 1.5mbits and broadcast HD is 19. you do the math.
