San Francisco, CA (June 16, 2008)— Damon Berger has been appointed Director of Programming for Revision3, the television network for the Internet generation. Berger joined the company in January 2008 as Director of Business Development.
In his new position, Berger will identify and create strategic partnerships for the leader in Web TV as well as maintain joint ventures on broadband, mobile and traditional media platforms. He will work with the management team on strategic planning to grow Revision3’s place as a model for creative development, branding and partnerships with advertisers within the online space.
“Damon has great creative vision, and really understands how to develop internet television into a new medium,” said Jim Louderback, CEO, Revision3. “We are lucky to have him as a part of the Revision3 team and I know he’s going to create great programming for our fans – today and tomorrow!”
Prior to joining Revision3, Berger helped to launch the episodic short form digital studio for The Walt Disney Co., Stage 9, where he was the head of creative development. He has been and continues to be involved in several leading organizations including, The American Film Institute’s Digital Content Lab and the Interactive Awards Committee of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Berger holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Revision3 is the first media company that gets it, born from the Internet, on-demand generation. Unlike aggregators, mash-ups, and user-generated video sites, Revision3 is an actual TV network for the Web, creating and producing its own original, broadcast-quality shows.
