Thanks to all of you who have taken a look at our fresh start for Internet Superstar. We hope you like what you see, and continue to watch because of it. If you haven’t had a chance to watch, please take a look.
Gator is dead, and all of us here at Revision3 are just heartbroken. In fact, Roger Chang went on a four-day bender because of it. But as I told him, many culturally significant Americans weren’t regarded as such prior to their passing, and I think that will be true of Gator. Plus, though Gator is irreplaceable, we can take comfort in the fact that sitting alongside me now will be my longtime collaborator Jay Speiden, who also happens to be Gator’s city cousin. Small world. Jay has been my main collaborator on pretty much everything I’ve done since day one of Unscrewed (not that that’s necessarily something you’d want on your resume), and I think you’ll really like what he brings to the show.
Right now, the plan is to do five shorter shows a week, Monday through Friday. We’ve got a lot of great interviews, segments, and important advice cooking, so expect every show to be different, and, hopefully, as we continue to figure it out, better than the one before it.
Because the show is still only partially molded clay, please keep emailing me your thoughts and suggestions, and make ample use of our message boards to express your opinions, positive or negative. We read and consider everything. In fact, part of the reason we changed the show in the first place was your feedback. We’re also excited to announce that we’re expanding to a couple of new playgrounds on the Internet:
Now you can follow our every move on Twitter at twitter.com/bestshowever as well as you can become a fan of Internet Superstar on our new Facebook page. It’s going to be the place to get exclusive Internet Superstar fun stuff to make your enjoyment of our show that much better!
Anyway, for those of you who are long time fans, we hope you’ll continue to watch and enjoy our work. And for those of you who weren’t into Internet Superstar in its previous iteration, we hope you’ll take a look at, and like, the new version. Regardless, thanks for watching our show and all the other fantastic Revision3 programming.

your doing great dude, i think it is great we get to see you more often….but imho i think you guys should extend the show to 15 to 20 minutes but i realize that might not work on an everyday thing
in the end martin i will follow you in what ever you do
your a great joy to watch and brighten my day
As usual I liked the way it was, with the daily shorts and the full show / interview concept. Some of the bits became a little forced (even though I get you and Jay’s humor/style). Just got done watching the second new format show and like it as well. The one thing I don’t get is if ‘revision3′is tv 2.0 or what not, then why keep reverting to the old models of formats/schedules/advertising?
It is just cool to see some of the crazy stuff that is out there on the internet. Martin, you do an awesome job of bringing it out in the open for all to laugh and be amazed at. Gator maybe dead, but not Internet Superstar.
Love the new format, but a new show 5 days/week? Should I quit my job!? Do you think I have an additional ~15 minutes/day to spare!? Give me one ~30 minute show per week!
Thanks.
No Gator, No Show!!!!!!!!!!!! in any format.
As much as I really do like the new version, I’m not sure if I’ll ever completely get used to it. I liked the sort of bizarre charm the show had when it was occupied by Gator and those wacky Netflix and emusic commercials. I’ll still watch it and recommend it to people, but I’ll always remember how it was in the old days.
I’ve been watching the new format version now and I’m not sure I like it as much. Are you still going to be doing the Coach Cole bit? That was by far the funniest part of the show…other than watching you use the Internets on that old laptop. I miss Gator too. Jay just doesn’t speak as much as Gator did. Sad. But I still love the show.
Shit. Fareye? That’s was two dog fucks ago. I just awoke from a long nap, and I hear Gator’s dead. Awe fuck! Well that never stopped me from thinkin’ the whole mother fuckin’ world is as bat shit crazy as I am. Fuck a park bench. Whatever. I’ve fucked alot worse for sure. Tell me something already know.
