REVISION3 HIT PROGRAMS EARN INDUSTRY ACCOLADES

2008 PODCAST AWARDS, GLOBAL MEDIA AWARDS AND FAST COMPANY HONOR REVISION3

San Francisco, CA - November 3, 2008 - Revision3, the TV network for the Internet generation, today announced that its shows have been recognized by three respected awards programs. The Podcast Awards 2008 nominated two shows on Revision3, the Global Media Awards nominated Tekzilla in the “Outstanding Long Form – Informational” category and Fast Company named Systm one of the “Top 10 Gadget Sites on the Internet.”

The 2008 Podcast Awards: Online media fans submitted nominations for their favorite shows in the Podcast Awards 2008, an audience-based awards program recognizing the best video and audio podcasts. Revision3 programs were nominated in the following categories:

  • Totally Rad Show for “Best Produced” and “Best Podcast” - The Totally Rad Show is Revision3’s explosion of movie, video game, TV and comics news and reviews, hosted by Alex Albrecht, Jeff Cannata and Dan Trachtenberg.
  • Diggnation for “Best Podcast” - Hosted by Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose, Diggnation is a weekly tech/web culture show based on the top digg.com social bookmarking news stories.

The Global Media Awards: The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) - the organization that also hands out television’s Emmy awards - and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) nominated Revision3’s weekly digital technology show Tekzilla for one of its inaugural Global Media Awards. The show was recognized in the “Outstanding Long Form – Informational” category. The Global Media Awards will be presented at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas on January 8, 2009 at the opening night of the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show.
