– Lao Tzu
Last night we launched something many of you have been clamoring for: Our new Revision3 store. I’m very proud of the hard work our team put into the store; launching it was not unlike building a house, with lots of moving parts, contractors and decorators to manage.
But unlike a house, which might get a new addition every ten years, what you see today is just the beginning, just our first step. We have a lot of great plans going forward, and you’ll see expansions and updates over the coming days and weeks.
Although we’re happy with the first round of products in our store, including the great Scam School and Tekzilla shirts, and the new female-sized shirts, some of you have wondered why we didn’t have more products available. They are on the way! This is just the first lineup of products – we expect a new crop of products up on the site within a few weeks, including hoodies – and maybe even Tekzilla hot sauce!
As for issues shipping outside of the US, we’re working to address that as quickly as possible.
Some of our fans wondered why we launched at all, given that we’ve discussed a broader range of products. I thought it was important that we launch something this week, so that we had an initial release available for the holiday season – rather than waiting until next year. And remember, as Lao Tzu says, this is just a first step. Our store will include a constantly evolving set of products and features that should please everyone.
Want to help with the next step? We’re going to be adding new pictures of our products “in action”, as modeled by our staff. But we’d rather run pictures of you decked out in our Revision3 gear. So here’s my challenge to all of you: snap a picture of yourself in one of our new shirts, hats, or using some of the gear to come. Post the picture in the forum, or link to it posted on Flickr or elsewhere. For a limited time, if we end up using your picture in our store, we’ll give you anything you want at the store for free!
