San Francisco, CA – January 7, 2009 – Internet television leader Revision3 has named Ryan Vance, seasoned television executive, executive producer and show runner, Vice President of Programming and Production. Based in Revision3’s San Francisco headquarters, Vance will spearhead production and programming efforts across Revision3’s wide network of shows. The announcement was made by Revision3 CEO Jim Louderback.
Prior to Revision3, Vance was executive producer at G4TV, where he managed all aspects of production, budget and development on multiple series and network specials, including America Ninja Challenge, X-Play, Free Stuff!, Live from E3, Live from Comic-Con, Icons, Cheat and more. In addition to his work at G4, Vance served as president and executive producer at Advance Media Productions, LLC, where he developed new shows for the Sci Fi Network, Reelz Channel and various new media outlets such as Gamefly.com, Championship Gaming Series and MiniMovieChannel.com.
Vance was also a series producer at Edelman Productions, where he was responsible for all aspects of production and post production for shows on HGTV and DIY Network, and held positions at Tech TV as series creator/show runner for the long running program X-Play and producer on Gamespot TV and Extended Play. Vance spent his early career in production at WB20 in San Francisco, Calif.
