San Francisco, CA – January 13, 2009 – As awards season heads to a crescendo, Internet TV superstars Alex Albrecht, Dan Trachtenberg and Jeff Cannata, hosts of the Totally Rad Show name the “Raddest of 2008.” The awards show, available today at www.revision3.com/trs was filmed in front of a live audience, with the hosts honoring the Raddest in their core coverage areas of movies, TV and video in 2008.

And the awards are…

Totally Rad Movie of 2008: The Wrestler, a drama centered on retired professional wrestler Randy “The Ram” Robinson as he makes his way through the independent circuit, trying to get back in the game for one final showdown with his former rival.

Totally Rad Video Game of 2008: Left 4 Dead, a co-operative, survival horror, first-person shooter video game. It was developed by Turtle Rock Studios, which was purchased by the Valve Corporation part-way into development. The game uses the Source game engine and is available for Windows-based personal computers and the Xbox 360.

Totally Rad TV Show of 2008: Lost, an American serial drama television series. It follows the lives of plane crash survivors on a mysterious tropical island, after a commercial passenger jet flying between Sydney, Australia and Los Angeles crashes somewhere in the South Pacific. Each episode typically features a primary storyline on the island as well as a secondary storyline from another point in a character’s life.
