San Francisco, CA – April 29, 2009 – Diggnation releases its 200th episode today, celebrating nearly four years of programming, well over 200 beers consumed and an audience that has consistently grown in size to hundreds of thousands of viewers weekly. The special Episode 200 of Diggnation is available beginning on Wednesday, April 29 at www.revision3.com/diggnation.

“Diggnation practically invented Internet television when it launched four years ago,” said Jim Louderback, CEO, Revision3. “Hosts Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht were the first true Internet video stars, and along with their dedicated production team, they continue to create an award winning program each week – and bring new fans every day in to their huge community of viewers. We look forward to more success, more exciting content and more great beer in the years ahead.”

Episode 200 features hosts Kevin Rose (also founder of Digg) and Alex Albrecht running through the top stories on digg.com that have been creating buzz worldwide, including new Zune HD details emerging, the official verdict of the Pirate Bay trial and more.

In addition, the episode showcases a montage of past season highlights, from the first ever broadcast and tours of the Michelob brewing company to Kevin and Alex greeting fans at Comic-Con, SXSW Interactive, CES and Infineon Raceway, welcoming guest Jimmy Fallon to the program and hosting live shows in five different countries around the world.

“I am so very privileged and humbled to have had the opportunity to grow Diggnation from the infancy of Internet television to the forefront of a revolution in entertainment. It is the growing passionate community that has allowed us to make Diggnation what it is today and I can’t wait to continue producing the show to its next big milestone,” said David Prager, Co-Founder, Revision3 and Producer, Diggnation.

An irreverent news review show hosted by tech geeks/pop culture gurus Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose, Diggnation was first launched in 2005. Based on the most popular news stories from digg.com, Diggnation garners hundreds of thousands of viewers per episode and consistently ranks among the top programs available from Apple iTunes. Diggnation is a winner of the 2008 Webby People’s Voice Award in the “Technology” category. For more episode highlights, visit www.revision3.com/diggnation.
