“We’re thrilled to be recognized by AlwaysOn as a top innovator that creates tremendous value for investors,” said Jim Louderback, CEO, Revision3. “Revision3 will continue to pave the way for growth and success in the Internet television space, attracting new and lasting audiences as we move through 2009.”

Revision3 will be recognized at OnHollywood, held from April 27-29 at The Sofitel Hotel in West Hollywood. We are pleased to see what 2009 has in store for the entertainment industry and we are happy to reveal the 2009 OnHollywood 100.”

The OnHollywood 100 winners were selected from among hundreds of other technology companies nominated by investors, bankers, journalists and industry insiders. The AlwaysOn editorial team conducted a rigorous three-month selection process to finalize the 2009 list.

The popular weekly tech/Web culture show Diggnation, which airs on the leading Internet TV network Revision3.com, took home the coveted Webby People’s Voice Award last year.

“Diggnation is truly an Internet phenomenon—and it’s an honor that the top industry visionaries at the Webbys are recognizing Revision3’s efforts in delivering quality content,” said Jim Louderback, CEO, Revision3. “Likewise, it was amazing to be honored by the fans last year with the Webby People’s Voice Award for Diggnation, and we plan to come out swinging to defend our title.”

The Webby People’s Voice Award title is voted on by the global Web community. From now until April 30, Diggnation fans can cast their votes for The Webby People’s Voice Awards at http://pv.webbyawards.com.

In addition, two Revision3 shows were recognized as outstanding entries and named Official Honorees in Online Film & Video—Systm for the How-To and DIY category and the Totally Rad Show for the Variety category. With nearly 10,000 entries received from all 50 states and over 60 countries, the Official Honoree distinction is awarded to the top 15 percent of all work entered that exhibits remarkable achievement.

This year’s nominees were announced in a special episode of Revision3’s Totally Rad Show, a Webby People’s Voice Winner in the Online Film & Video, Variety category in the 12th Annual Webby Awards, available now at www.revision3.com/trs/nubbins. Webby winners will be announced on May 5, 2009 and honored at a star-studded ceremony hosted by Seth Meyers in New York City on June 8. Winners will be able to share one of the Webbys famous five-word speeches with the world. Past Webby Award winners—and their speeches—include Al Gore (”Please don’t recount this vote.”), Beastie Boys (”Can anyone fix my computer?”) and Stephen Colbert (”Me. Me. Me. Me. Me.”).

Diggnation has consistently been lauded by fans and critics alike. The show, based on the top news stories from digg.com, garners over 200,000 viewers per episode and consistently ranks among the top programs available from Apple iTunes.

“Nominees like Diggnation are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet,” said David-Michel Davies, executive director of the Webby Awards. “It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the nearly 10,000 entries we received this year.”

The Webby Awards is presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 650-person judging academy whose members include Internet co-inventor Vinton Cerf, R/GA’s Chief Bob Greenberg, “Simpson’s” creator Matt Groening, Arianna Huffington and Harvey Weinstein.
