San Francisco, CA – September 28, 2009 – Internet television leader Revision3 has promoted Brad Murphy to Chief Revenue Officer. Murphy, a seasoned sales executive, first joined the company in 2007 as Vice President of Sales for Revision3. The announcement was made by Revision3 CEO Jim Louderback.

“Revision3 is one of the few – if not the only – company that’s figured out how to make money on Internet Video.  It required a brand new way to think about sponsorships, and Brad Murphy has been responsible for the vast majority of our success”, said Jim Louderback, CEO, Revision3.  “He’s been responsible for bringing in blue chip brands, including HP, Anheuser-Busch, Virgin America, Patron and Unilever, and is a tireless and passionate promoter of our audience, our vision and our shows.”

In his new role, Murphy will work to discover and grow new sources of revenue for the entire company.  He will also continue in his former capacity, expanding relationships with existing advertisers for the network’s impressive roster of shows including the popular Diggnation and &Totally Rad Show;.

“Revision3’s unique sponsorship and advertising model has leveraged social influence marketing to deliver amazing results for a diverse list of clients,” said Murphy. “With 99% audience recall for at least one sponsor and 48% of our viewers having purchased a product or service from a sponsor, we are creating connections between brands and consumers more effectively and efficiently than any other media vehicle out there.  I am eager to build on this success as we further develop strategies around show sponsorships, custom content production and live events.”

Murphy has more than ten years of experience in the advertising industry. Prior to Revision3, Murphy worked at UGO Networks, Inc., an entertainment website, where he drove online advertising sales to first-time advertisers as well as Fortune 100 companies and broke numerous new accounts across all categories. Murphy previously acted as regional sales manager at CNET Networks, Inc., the largest technology media company in the world, where he sold national online advertising packages for CNET’s sales, services and advice properties. At TechTV, Inc., Murphy served as lead sales manager and gained five years of cable, online and production services sales experience. In addition, Murphy has held positions at The Idea Foundation, a promotional marketing agency.

Murphy received his B.S. from Lewis & Clark College
