About Revision3
Revision3 is the first media company that gets it. Born from the Internet, Revision3 is the home of Internet Television, creating and producing shows for a new audience: passionate, committed fans who want to watch shows about technology, modern culture and music that entertain, educate and help to expand their life experiences.

The company was founded in 2005 by technology visionaries Kevin Rose, Jay Adelson and David Prager because they couldn’t find anything they wanted to watch on traditional television. The company is now led by Internet TV pioneer Jim Louderback. With more than 60 million views to date (and six million per month), Revision3’s programs can be found everywhere from Revision3 to a wide range of platforms, including iTunes, YouTube, Joost, Hulu, Viddler, Blip.TV and TIVO. Watch Tekzilla, Hak5 and Hack College Live from CES

January 7th, 2009 at 08:24 by Jim Louderback in Live Events, Shows

Wow, the new year starts quickly. It’s barely 2009, and already we’re off to both CES and MacWorld to bring you the best hands on coverage from both of these shows. We’re doing six live shows from the huge Consumer Electronics Show - aka CES, from Las Vegas this year, along with a full episode of Tekzilla brought to you from the floor of MacWorld.

Let’s start with CES. A big crew of Revision3 staff are headed to Las Vegas on Wednesday to bring you the best from the show floor. We’ll be live-blogging the event, along with bringing you live programming from the show, courtesy of our friends at NBC. Don’t miss Patrick and Veronica, the Hak5 crew, and our Revision3 Beta HackCollege hosts live and on demand, starting this Thursday. The best way to keep up with everything that’s happening is to bookmark the page www.revision3.com/ces, where we’ll be feeding all of our blog posts, Twitter updates, live shows and more from CES.

When are we live? Here’s the full schedule:

  • Tekzilla Live: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, catch Patrick and Veronica doing Tekzilla live at 7:30pm eastern, 4:30pm pacific, from the NBC stage.
  • Hak5 Live: Friday and Saturday at 5pm eastern, 2pm pacific
  • Hack College: Live Friday at 4pm eastern, 1pm pacific

If you’re in Las Vegas, at CES, please stop by during one or more of our live shows. We’re doing them all from the NBC booth, right on the main floor of CES – Central Hall booth number 12133.

If you can’t watch the Hak5 or Tekzilla shows live, they’ll be available on demand starting about 24 hours later at Revision3.com – at the show’s regular pages:

So what about MacWorld? Well before the Tekzilla crew heads to CES late Wednesday, their covering Macworld like a glove – producing a full Tekzilla episode from the show floor. That episode will debut Saturday as well, at Tekzilla’s show p age, and across the web via iTunes, YouTube and elsewhere. You can subscribe or watch at www.revision3.com/tekzilla.

Diggnation Hits Los Angeles

December 30th, 2008 at 07:09 by Ron Richards in Live Events

As you may have heard on recent episodes of Diggnation, we’ll be kicking off 2009 strong with our first LIVE Diggnation of the year, at the Knitting Factory in Los Angeles on January 14, 2009. The live Diggnation will be occurring at the Digg Meetup so this is your chance to rub elbows with Kevin Rose, Alex Albrecht and the rest of the Digg and Revision3 crew.

If you live in the Los Angeles area we hope you can make it. The Knitting Factory is one of the coolest venues we’ve ever booked for a live Diggnation, but capacity is limited, so you better get there early to make sure you can get in!
