Official Contest Rules
To Enter; Eligibility: To be eligible for this contest, you must (a) submit, through the contest microsite (http://www.revision3.com/contest), a domain name you have registered with GoDaddy.com ("Submission") by no later than 12:00 Noon PST on April 28, 2008 and (b) be 13 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States for the duration of the contest. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17 must first obtain the consent of their parent or legal guardian in order to enter. If the prize is won by a minor, it will be awarded to a parent or legal guardian on the minors' behalf. Any late, lost, misdirected, incorrect, or incomplete Submissions will be disqualified and Revision3 Corporation ("Revision3") and GoDaddy.com, Inc. ("GoDaddy.com") will not be responsible for such entries. [You may submit multiple Submissions, Full-time Revision3 and GodDaddy.com employees and members of their immediate families are not eligible for this contest. Revision3 may reject any submitted entries that it determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, fail to meet any of these eligibility requirements. To be eligible you must agree to abide by these terms and conditions and be bound by all Revision3 decisions relating to this contest, which are final and binding in all respects, including but not limited to Revision3's determination of the winner.
Prize: The prize is: free hosting on GoDaddy.com for one (1) year ("Prize"). For clarity, there is a total of one (1) prize. The winner is responsible for the payment of all taxes associated with the receipt of any prize. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. The Prize may not be redeemed for cash.
Winner Selection: The winning entry will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by Revision3. The decision of the judges is final. The judges will select the Submission that they "LIKE THE BEST". The winner must sign and notarize an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release that will be sent via mail or email, and must be returned to Revision3 within ten (10) days, in order for the winner to be officially recognized. If the winner is unable to accept the Prize, or if the winner does not return the signed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within ten (10) days, Revision3 will automatically disqualify the winner and the judges will select another winner in accordance with the content rules. The winner must agree to grant Revision3 permission to use their name, photograph and likeness for advertising and promotion of this and similar promotions or the Revision3 products or services without compensation, unless prohibited by law. The winner must also sign any applicable forms required by tax authorities and prize suppliers. The Prize will only be awarded to the winner if he/she complies with these rules. The odds of winning depend upon the number and quality of entries received.
Announcement of the Winner: The name of the Prize winner will be posted on the Revision3 website http://www.revision3.com/tekzilla on May 2, 2008.
Limitations of Liability: Revision3 (which, for purposes of this paragraph, shall include GoDaddy) is not responsible for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by Revision3, or you or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in association with this contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions that may limit an entrants ability to participate in this contest. BY ACCEPTING THE PRIZE, THE WINNER AGREES THAT THE PRIZE IS AWARDED ON THE CONDITION THAT REVISION3 AND ITS AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND EMPLOYEES WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION OR USE OF THE PRIZE. The winner further acknowledge that the foregoing parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee (express or implied, in fact or in law) in connection with the prize or the use or enjoyment of the prize. THE PRIZE IS AWARDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY SORT, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
General Conditions: If any provision of this Official Contest Rules is held to be illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these rules shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Revision3 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the contest or to be acting in violation of these rules. If Revision3 determines, in its sole discretion, that the on-line portion of the contest is compromised by virus, bug, robot entries, or other corruption of the administration, security or proper play of the contest, then, at its sole discretion, Revision3 can cancel this contest. In the event of any non-compliance with any requirement stated herein, a winner's prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. This contest is governed by and shall be construed under the laws of the State of California, U.S.A., without regard to the conflicts of law provisions therein. The parties hereby irrevocably consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts of San Francisco, California. The prize will be subject to all applicable US taxes and withholding. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by any relevant federal, state or local law, including but not limited to jurisdictions with laws that would require registration, disclosure, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements that are not satisfied.
