Happy Monday folks! We've got some more gameplay details on Alan Awake's American Nightmare, news about Star Wars: The Old Republic's queues, and Playstation Vita is finally out in Japan. Plus, Pokemon meets Feudal Japan. What?! This is episode 245 of the Destructoid Show.

Preview: Alan Wake's American Nightmare

By now, most of us know about the long and challenging path that Remedy traveled in order to see the fruition of the original Alan Wake. Spanning five years of development, the psychological action thriller was not only one of 2010's best titles, but it helped invigorate a seemingly dying genre. (Wesley Ruscher)

Pokemon + Nobunaga Teaming Up for DS

As you may have heard, the greatest videogame crossover ever is hitting the DS next Spring in Japan, care of Koei Tecmo and The Pokémon Company. The vaguely historically accurate Nobunaga's Ambition and the totally historically accurate Pokémon series are coming together with Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition, and I couldn't be happier about it. Seeing Pokémon from all five generations team up to battle a Japanese warlord from ten generations ago is such an obviously good idea that I'm not sure why it took so long for someone to make it happen. Star Wars: The Old Republic Has Looooooong Server Queues

Recently, I've had to accept the fact that if I'm not already playing Star Wars: The Old Republic by a certain time in the evening, I won't be playing it again that night. The game's servers are absolutely stuffed to the gills, despite EA rolling out early access to ensure a smooth launch. (Jim Sterling)

Playstation Vita Did Not Sell Out in Japan, but Memory Cards Did

While we are still waiting on official numbers, it sounds like the PlayStation Vita has not sold through all of the estimated initial shipment of 700,000 units. The superhuge retailers in Japan, like Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera, have said that you could pick up a Vita on launch day without pre-order, says Andriasang. NeoGAF found that some Japanese sites were reporting estimated sell-throughs at 85 percent for the WiFi model and 56 percent for the 3G model. (Dale North)
