Happy Monday, folks! The dynamic duo is back and ready to spend the better half of today's show talking about Assassin's Creed III and all the wonderful things in store for it. Also on today's news menu: Xbox Live's Arcade NEXT promotion, rumors of a Prey 2 cancellation, and FREE VIDEO GAMES!

We now know quite a bit more about what players will experience when they play Assassin's Creed III later this year, but we can also report on something Connor won't be doing as he fights the Templars in the Americas: taking scalps. Though members of the press were shown an early animated sequence in which Connor claims a scalp from an English soldier, the AC III team decided that the act was too gruesome -- particularly after learning it was commonly performed while the victim was still alive. NeoGaf spotted a report on PSFocus suggesting that Prey 2 has been canned by Bethesda. This arrives in the wake of a Prey 2 GDC talk that was pulled just before the event. Eurogamer note a tweet from Human Head programmer Brian Karis which said that "Zenimax forced us to pull all Prey2 related talks from GDC." Bethesda haven't confirmed or denied the suggestion that Prey 2 has been cancelled, offering only a "no comment" to Game Informer, which doesn't bode well. (Tom Senior)
