Aliens Colonial Marines CONFIRMED

http://www.destructoid.com/aliens-colonial-marines-confirmed-for-e3-spring-2012-202557.phtml The Gearbox-developed shooter is now on track for a spring 2012 release, and will rear its head at E3 next week. Colonial Marines has players boarding the abandoned U.S.S. Sulaco as part of the United States Colonial Marines crew. Sega and Gearbox are promising "unspeakable horrors" and "authentic environments," like the surface of LV-426 and Hadley's Hope. Because nothing is more authentic than a moon that's home to parasitic aliens called Xenomorphs. (Nick Chester)

EXCLUSIVE War of the Worlds Preview

http://www.destructoid.com/exclusive-first-look-the-war-of-the-worlds-202521.phtmlA couple days ago, I received an email asking me if I wanted to check out Other Ocean's studios, where they're currently working on a game based on The War of the Worlds. The email noted two very specific things: first, this game has nothing to do with the Tom Cruise movie of the same name, other than being based on the same source material. I'm pretty sure everyone's sick of Tom Cruise these days, so that's good. (Max Scoville)
