Happy Free Code/Photoshop Friday! Today we've got an in-depth preview of Black Ops II's multiplayer, special editions for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Zone of the Enders HD, and rebates for XBL Gold members with high gamerscores! Also Notch lashes out at Microsoft for Windows 8, and Dead or Alive 5 needs BIGGER BOOBS!
Episode 369 of the Destructoid Show:
Team Ninja's Yohei Shimbori has been justifying his studio's love of massive breasts with inhuman wobble physics, claiming that while international distributors want the breasts toned down, fans are demanding even bigger boobs. (Jim Sterling)
Tonight, Konami pimped their release date for Zone of the Enders HD Collection in North America, along with a little added surprise. You'll be able to pick up the game on October 30th, either in its standard edition or -- in a bold move -- a collector's edition. (Conrad Zimmerman)
At an event tonight, Konami has revealed the first details on the special edition for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Arriving February 19, the package will include the game, a soundtrack and a High Frequency Blade plasma lamp. (Conrad Zimmerman)
Minecraft creator Markuss "Notch" Persson has done it again, this time slagging off Windows 8 after refusing to certify Minecraft for sale on Microsoft's latest OS. The developer accused Microsoft of trying to ruin an open platform, and expressed hope that other developers would shun the OS in turn. (Jim Sterling)
So we gave you a pretty extended detail look at Black Ops II's multiplayer not too long ago. It was a lot to take in, but guess what? There's more. So much more. In fact, Treyarch had us out for another visit just to see the rest of the multiplayer content. (Hamza Aziz)
A couple of months ago, we were told that Xbox Live Rewards would be incentivizing Achievements this fall. Microsoft has now rolled out that functionality, which allows Gold users who sign up to earn rewards based on how many Achievements they unlock. Looking at the prizes, it's a smart move on their part. (Jordan Devore)
