http://www.destructoid.com/rumor-fable-iv-out-2013-probably-not-on-rails-209567.phtml Peter Molyneux and company are said to be prepping the sequel for a 2013. The rumor comes from the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine, which says the title will be a "proper, controller-based Fable." Lionhead's already announced Fable: The Journey, an all Kinect, all the time experience that's totally not on rails, guys. (Nick Chester)
http://www.destructoid.com/rumor-gearbox-rebooting-duke-nukem-in-next-game-209569.phtml According to Official Xbox Magazine (in the same column that namedropped Fable IV), Gearbox Software is aiming to give Duke Nukem a complete reboot once it's wrapped up production on Aliens: Colonial Marines. (Jim Sterling)
http://www.destructoid.com/square-enix-to-reveal-a-new-game-at-pax-panel-209575.phtml Going to PAX and like Square Enix games? You should definitely go to the panel they're holding on August 27 at 7:00pm. Square Enix and Airtight Games are going to reveal a top-secret project at this panel. We know absolutely nothing about it yet. Square Enix does call the game "incredibly fascinating" and "quirky," so that's something. (Dale North)
http://www.destructoid.com/robocop-avatar-gear-i-d-buy-that-for-a-dollar-209549.phtml In past weeks, publishers have announced copious amounts of avatar gear in support of their games. T-shirts, hats, pets, props, etc... but nothing truly worth the price tag. This, however, justifies the existence of avatar gear in one fell swoop. (Liam Fisher)
http://www.destructoid.com/review-deus-ex-human-revolution-209544.phtml In the year 2027, mankind is about to enter a new era of self-propagated evolution. Technology that blends man and machine has allowed "augmented" humans to run faster, think quicker, grow stronger, and rise above their genetics to be the person they want to be -- provided they have a lot of money and don't mind requiring lifelong medication to ensure their bodies don't reject the enhancements. (Jim Sterling)
