Valve has announced that they are working on new Arsenal Modes for the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , set to release on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam in Spring 2012. The mode is largely based on a very popular Counter-Strike: Source mod called "Gun Game." (Sven Wohl)
Resistance has always been a bit of a strange series for the PlayStation 3. As an exclusive, it's always enjoyed added exposure and attention from press, but divisive opinions on its quality and the dated nature of its gameplay have awarded it far less commendation compared to the likes of inFAMOUS and Uncharted. People may have been complaining that the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 got visually short-changed, but at least it's getting the VIP treatment when it comes to downloadable content.
