In today's live show, we went hands on with Diablo 3's beta and played the first 10 minutes of the character YOU chose (spoiler: Demon Hunter). We also brought you Destructoid's Resistance 3 review, ran down some new Counter Strike Global Offensive information, and much more.

Valve has announced that they are working on new Arsenal Modes for the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , set to release on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam in Spring 2012. The mode is largely based on a very popular Counter-Strike: Source mod called "Gun Game." (Sven Wohl)
Resistance has always been a bit of a strange series for the PlayStation 3. As an exclusive, it's always enjoyed added exposure and attention from press, but divisive opinions on its quality and the dated nature of its gameplay have awarded it far less commendation compared to the likes of inFAMOUS and Uncharted. People may have been complaining that the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 got visually short-changed, but at least it's getting the VIP treatment when it comes to downloadable content. DICE has confirmed that PS3 users will get "full-blown" expansions a week earlier than 360 or PC players. (Jim Sterling)
Looking forward to Diablo III this year? Have you always been so optimistic? Following the release of the game's beta, Blizzard has decided the long-craved roleplaying game won't be ready in 2011, and has confirmed an "early 2012" date.(Jim Sterling)
