Episode 365 of the Destructoid Show:
Activision and Treyarch are continuing to draw this whole Zombies thing out for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Today, it's a teaser video that ends with a snippet of gameplay footage. (Jordan Devore)
At tonight's Tecmo Koei event in Shibuya, Keiji Inafune appeared to reveal that the "YAIBA" game we heard about last week is, in actuality, Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z. Holy. Crap. (Conrad Zimmerman)
Yep, people have been working on the next proper Dragon Age for a while now. Although BioWare Edmonton and BioWare Montreal don't have much of substance to share yet -- not even a teaser image or anything -- the studios did announce that Dragon Age III: Inquisition will be ready "late" next year. (Jordan Devore)
Interesting timing, but it's probably not what you think. Following BioWare's announcement of Dragon Age III: Inquisition, the studio's co-founders have made an announcement of their own: they are both retiring from the industry to pursue other interests. (Jordan Devore)
Speaking with Valve's Jeri Ellsworth, Engadget found out a little more on the company's hardware division. It seems the short-term goal is "To make Steam games more fun to play in your living room." Right now, they're concentrating on expanding the team, so "prototyping is almost secondary," says Ellsworth. (Jordan Devore)
At Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference today, Sony announced a new PS3 system that is even more slim than the current PS3 Slim. The PS3 Slim Slim? (Dale North)
It was announced today at Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show presser that the PlayStation Plus service is coming to PS Vita this November. Members will be able to access the included instant game collection, buy games for a discount, and 1GB of online game storage for saves and DLC. It's just like PS Plus now, only smaller and portable. (Dale North)
Team Ninja is bringing it tonight! Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus will come to PlayStation Vita next year. That's right, the OFFICIAL best Ninja Gaiden (fact!) will come to Sony's handheld. Here's hoping you can decapitate ninjas in this release, because I really missed that in the original PlayStation 3 version. No news on what new features this version will bring (if any), but we'll provide an update during TGS when we find out. (Allistair Pinsof)
