Thanks to Judge's Week, we've got previews o' plenty on today's show, including one for Lost Planet 3, XCOM Enemy Unknown, and a review for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier! Before that though, Max gives us a first look at the new Marvel Heroes MMO and Tara talks about some of the changes that Blizzard has made to Diablo III!
Episode 310 of the Destructoid Show:
Blizzard has implemented the first of some ongoing hotfixes to Diablo III, attempting to bring character classes into balance. (Jim Sterling)
Did you all forget Marvel was working on a free-to-play MMO? Yeah, it's been over a year since we last talked about the game, but Gazillion Entertainment has finally come out of hiding to show off the first ever gameplay footage. (Hamza Aziz)
Remember that hands-off Lost Planet 3 reveal demonstration I saw last month? Capcom finally let me put my hands on it -- that exact demo. It makes me wonder why they didn't let me play it in the first place. Still, I was able to finally play through it last week, and as you'd imagine, I have a bit more to say about it. (Dale North)
When XCOM: Enemy Unknown was revealed earlier this year, series fans seemed to get behind this re-imagining. Most of them, anyway. Change is scary -- I get it. Sure, there are some changes involved when updating a 20-year old title, and even more on top of that when you consider that the title is also coming to consoles. But as I saw in our first hands-on preview with the game, change can be good. (Dale North)
While Future Soldier takes place in the future, it's one that rings much closer to home than any futuristic military shooter we've seen to date. It may come as a surprise to those who lost interest in the Ghost Recon franchise after GRAW 2, that this latest title has ended up as one of the finest military shooters in recent years. (Maurice Tan)
