destructoid.com/redhead-femshep-winning-mass-effect-3-box-art-vote-210211.phtml: BioWare has been expertly working the Internet like a fingerpuppet, causing a shitstorm of hilariously silly proportions with an open vote for which "Female Sheperd" will appear on the box art for Mass Effect 3. In round one, the blonde-haired FemShep won and people got mad. (Jim Sterling)
destructoid.com/here-is-the-full-list-of-nes-games-for-3ds-ambassadors-210229.phtml: On September 1st, 3DS owners who are part of Nintendo's Ambassador program will be able to download the first batch of ten games. In the original announcement, we learned of five NES games that would be made available: Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, and The Legend of Zelda. According to this tweet by Nintendo of America, we can add Metroid, NES Open Tournament Golf, Wrecking Crew, Yoshi, and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link to that list. Yup, sounds about right. (Tony Ponce)
destructoid.com/dead-island-s-almost-here-have-a-launch-trailer-210286.phtml: Deep Silver has released a launch trailer for Dead Island, which is out next week. Featuring a souped up version of the now-famous announcement trailer music, it's a particularly pretty little video, and it's gotten me super pumped for some zombie slaying. (Jim Sterling)
destructoid.com/preview-the-baconing-206673.phtml: Much like the Rapture, the Quickening, and whatever other religious world changing event is coming, The Baconing is upon us and we must get our collective asses back into church and pray that our savior Deathspank can save us. (John Speerbrecker)
destructoid.com/persona-4-ps-vita-and-persona-fighting-game-announced-210248.phtml: Atlus made good on their tease, and they kicked my ass in the process. We've got two amazing Persona announcements here. First up is Persona 4 The Golden, a port of Persona 4 for the PS Vita. This enhanced edition will include a new character named Mary, some form of wireless multi-player support, more voice acting, all new animations, and more. Remember how we first met Catherine's leading man Vincent in Persona 3 Portable? I'm hoping we get something similar to that in Persona 4 The Golden, set for release next Spring. (Jonathan Holmes)
