First Look at Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Multiplayer and 3D Single Player at PAX 2011!

Friday, August 26th, 2011 – running time 08:18

PAX 2011 is kicking off with the highly anticipated event, HaloFest! In celebration of the past ten Halo-saturated years, 343 Industries and Bungie are taking some time to show off what they've been slaving away on. We've got the FIRST LOOK at the all new (and revamped) multiplayer and 3D single player modes in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary!

343 Industries will be releasing Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on November 15th and is said to include "a bounty of new features including cooperative play over Xbox LIVE, Achievements, new challenges, and new fiction to uncover." Basically, do you love Halo? Do you even love Halo Reach? Then you'll love Halo: Anniversary even harder. And it's under $40.

Hamza Aziz checks out what's new in the latest Halo series' Multiplayer mode, which will include both new AND fancied up original Halo maps (Damnation or Beaver Creek, anyone?). Executive Producer of 343 Industries, Dan Ayoub, also steps in to show off what we can look forward to in the Firefight map.

Halo: Anniversary includes a new 3D single player mode, but still keeps everything we all know and love (or hate) from the O.G. Halo. Also, shooting a Needler in 3D looks straight f'ing badass.
