Happy Monday everyone. We've got a lot of news for you today - there's our last of the CES rundowns with some very lackluster accessories, the latest dirt on the 3DS' batteries and launch titles thanks to Nintendo World, and a relative TON of new info on Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, thanks to Game Informer. Max also gets to talk about Jade and Goro from Mortal Kombat, so everyone's happy. In some sad news, Gearbox's Alien: Colonial Marines will NOT be seeing a release this year, thanks to Duke Nukem Forever.
Destructoid show episode 37 - NEWS POWERS ACTIVATE!
Story #1 - CES? More like Meh-ES! Our second round of CES news isn't quite as exciting - Mad Catz announced a few accessories, and there's an inflatable car you can play Wii inside.
Story #2 - Nintendo Chief Satoru Iwata says Gamecube could do 3d gaming. He also mentioned that the flipping Gameboy Advance SP could do it. What exactly are you trying to prove Iwata-san? That you thought 3d was cool before everyone else?
Story #3 - The 3DS battery just might suck. Apparently all that 3d magic that Nintendo has up their sleeves for the 3DS takes some juice - they're saying that the 3DS might only have 3-5 hours of battery life. Company quoted battery life is usually a hilarious overestimate in "optimum settings", so here's hoping the 3DS can squeeze out more than 45 minutes.
Story #4 - Bayonetta and a feminist theory - a match made in heaven! So apparently the developer of Bayonetta said that women view each other as natural enemies. Oh boy.
Story #5 - Alien: Colonial Marines gets pushed to 2012. Thanks to Duke Nukem Forever, Gearbox has to put Aliens on the backburner again.
Story #6 - Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Details Revealed! Finally we get some more dirt on the Morrowind followup thanks to Game Informer. We can't wait for 11/11/11!
Story #7 - Jade and Goro confirmed for Mortal Kombat 9! One hot ninja, and one of our favorite Mortal Kombat characters are now confirmed for the latest iteration. Can you guess which one is which?
