Happy Friday! Today we've got a release date for Crysis 3, a preview (and delay) for BioShock Infinite, new gameplay for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and weird age restrictions for Nintendo's European Wii U eShop. Also, the VGAs are tonight! Watch as Max and Tara enumerate their hopes and dreams for this years awards show, however unrealistic they may be!
Episode 398 of the Destructoid Show:
BioShock Infinite is now set to be released on March 26 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Yeah, that's an extra month of no totally awesome fun times with BioShock. Bummer. It seems Ken Levine cares more about making great games than he cares about getting them out on time. (Allistair Pinsof)
BioShock Infinite begins much as the original begins: a mysterious man, lost at sea, on a mission that starts at a lighthouse and leads to who knows where. But then, the player ascends up toward the heavens, or at least what a citizen of the flying city Columbia calls, "the closest you can get to heaven." ... my three hours spent playing BioShock Infinite from its opening, I have to say that it indeed seems to be the closest you can get to heaven. (Allistair Pinsof)
Konami has given us a pretty detailed look at what we can expect out of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. This first video shows the Metal Gear Ray battle that was teased months back, and it is pretty badass. (Hamza Aziz)
We can finally get the release-date news for Crysis 3 behind us. The latest installment from Crytek will be targeting PC and consoles on February 19, 2013 in North America, and February 21 in Europe. (Jordan Devore)
Reports around the Internet, including NeoGAF, have revealed an irritating age restriction on the European Wii U eShop. Regardless of whether you have a child account or not, you're unable to purchase 18-rated games until 11pm. (Jim Sterling)
