Episode 360 of the Destructoid Show:
Television's first and only dedicated gaming channel may call it quits by early 2013, according to a recent Variety report. NBCUniversal plan to rebrand the channel and cater toward older males that read GQ. (Allistair Pinsof)
2K Games and Firaxis are about to unleash their re-imagining of a classic PC title with XCOM: Enemy Unknown, set to release on October 9. You can pre-purchase the game now from your favorite digital retailer and claim a free launch bonus in the process. (Dale North)
My biggest f*ckup of 2012 was missing an interview opportunity at gamescom to find out more about new Capcom IP Remember Me. I'm sorry about that, and I'll do better for you in the near future. This game looks too good to not be all over it. (Dale North)
Ubisoft today announced Rayman Jungle Run, a 'runner' for iOS and Android. This lovely looking game uses the UbiArt engine, which was used in Rayman Origins. It'll look even prettier on the iPad's Retina Display, as support has been worked in for that. Rayman Jungle Run will support cloud saves and feature leader boards. No price was given, but we do know that the title will be released on September 20. (Dale North)
Ubisoft today announced Trials Evolution: Gold Edition, a return to PC. They call this the definitive edition of the hit XBLA game Trials Evolution as it contains all the original content plus new optimizations and enhancements for the PC. Gold Edition also includes everything from predecessor, Trials HD, making it twice as big as Evolution. Expect 120 tracks, skill games and multiplayer levels in the game overall. (Dale North)
