In case you missed today's LIVE Destructoid Show, Tara's got beef with tiny hamburgers, and has a handful of details about Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil Revelations, while Max talks Darksiders II and Nobunaga's Ambition + Pokemon. If that wasn't enough, Tara boasts about her romantic evening with Kid Icarus Uprising. And as always, we read what you guys had to say in the chat. This is episode 257 of the Destructoid Show.
Here's a new trailer for Darksiders II, in which the lads at Vigil talk about creating a brand new horseman for the sequel. They discuss the differences between Death and War, detail his playstyle, and give us a look at his personality. He's a bit of a badass, as it goes.
We all want Diablo III to be done, and we all want to be playing it right now. Blizzard wants it to be done too, but they are taking the time to make it a good game. Just when we thought everything was getting finished up, Blizzard is making some drastic changes to a few of Diablo III's system mechanics.
Today's Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition press event was capped off by a brand new trailer which demonstrates a little gameplay. It looks a lot like Disgaea or Tenchi Muyo! for the Super Famicom, my only prior experiences with the genre. Is that what I can expect? Moving my party members around an isometric map and triggering attacks that target specific squares on the board? I'm down with that.
"I can't believe I'm actually flying!" These are some of the first words that Nintendo's, once forgotten hero, Pit utters in disbelief during the opening moments of Kid Icarus: Uprising -- his long awaited return to the forefront of videogames. Sadly, it would almost be more fitting if he had instead screamed, "I can't believe they finally made me a proper sequel and it's going to released in the next few months!" (Wesley Ruscher).
