If you're in the mood for early access to some of 2011's hottest games, then today's your lucky day; not only was the Battlefield 3 beta announced for September 29th, but Blizzard has revealed that the Diablo III closed beta is available, right now! With Diablo III still to be confirmed for release in 2011, this could be the closest players get to Blizzard's long-awaited sequel. (Alasdair Duncan)

An Israeli TV news show recently broadcast a video tour of Visceral's studios and showed off more than the developer had bargained for -- panning its cameras across a Dead Space 3 logo. Not exactly the most glorious of reveals. (Jim Sterling)
It seems From Software has a treat for those playing Dark Souls ahead of its September 22 release date in Japan: incredibly powerful enemies (even in the context of these games).
