Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is surprisingly disappointing, Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs has Emma Stone, and more!
The voice cast for Square Enix's Sleeping Dogs has been announced, and as with most things related to gaming, there's no shortage of redheads! In other news, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is surprisingly disappointing, iPads can be used as Xbox remotes now, and LEAP Motion gaming is giving Kinect a run for its money! Also, THQ released Metro: Last Light's "Welcome to Moscow" E3 demo and it's AWESOME!
Episode 335 of the Destructoid Show:
An HD upgrade should make a game look and feel as good as you remember it. Instead, Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD made me wonder why I ever liked this series. In a world where THPS 2X is still readily available for less than $10 on eBay, it's hard to give this HD downgrade any sort of recommendation. (Allistair Pinsof)
Synergy, folks. You know, that buzz word that's been thrown out since the dawn of the dot com era? Well it looks like it's pretty relevant today, as the iPad's My Xbox Live app has been updated with the functionality to control your Xbox 360. (Chris Carter)
The Destructoid Show is currently giving away five 750GB Seagate Momentus XT Solid State Hybrid Drives for your gaming laptop! Not only are these incredibly fast and quiet, their large capacity makes them the perfect gaming companion. (Tara Long)
The LEAP is essentially a precision Kinect that senses various types of gestures in a 3D space, and can be used for a whole ton of stuff besides Fruit Ninja and dance games. The video on the LEAP's website makes it look like something straight out of a science fiction movie, so going in, I was skeptical. After getting my hands on a prototype device, and fooling around in a couple different applications and demos, I'm really excited about the trouble I could get into with a LEAP. (Max Scoville)
