A TON of Wii U news dropped today and there's a bunch of info out there in regards to the pricing and release dates of Nintendo's new console in North America, Europe, and Japan. You can see all our coverage on our Wii U page, or you can just read below to get all the essential info ASAP. (Hamza Aziz)
One of the bigger announcements at today's Wii U event was that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be making it to Nintendo's next home console on November 13. So is there a good reason why you should get the Wii U version of Black Ops II over the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions? Well, maybe not, but by the same toke, there isn't a reason you shouldn't buy it on the Wii U either. (Jonathan Holmes)
In today's installment of "Predictable, but disappointing," it's revealed that in order to move data from your Wii to your eventual Wii U, you'll need both systems at the same time for the transfer process. At least we found out before everyone went and traded in their systems, I suppose. (Jordan Devore)
Bayonetta 2 has been announced! Platinum Games will be bringing out the game for the Wii U. The producer on the original game is on the project, and this is an exclusive for the Wii U with Nintendo publishing the game. (Hamza Aziz)
This past week we got to tell you all about Insomniac's Fuse, their new third-person co-op shooter. Originally called Overstrike, the new direction of the game is bringing a more serious tone while still keeping the over-the-top weapons. (Hamza Aziz)
Yesterday, we found out about the fifty titles Nintendo expects to be released in North America during the Wii U's "launch window," but the details on which of those fifty would be on store shelves the same day as the console had yet to be revealed. We may have a better idea of that now, following a whole bunch of game pages on Nintendo.com (spotted by Game Usagi) having their release dates updated to the magical November 18 console launch day.
