Resistance 3 has a hands on preview, Fallout Old World Blues has a new trailer, and strategy games are dead! Er, at least according to 2K publicity. We've also got news of EA buying Popcap, Netflix's latest ruse, and more info on Aliens Colonial Marines gameplay.

Today, word has come down that the company has accepted a bid of 750 million dollars (with 100 million of that in common stock) from Electronic Arts. (Conrad Zimmerman)

In fact, even compared to Fall of Man, Resistance 3 has an entirely unique vibe. While Resistance 2 seemed to shed its focus on atmosphere for relentlessly bombarding players with over-the-top battles on a grand scale, Resistance 3 isn't worried about taking a breather to set the mood.
