We're back to our normal, newsy format today, and not a moment too soon. Today we learned that the iPad 2 announcement is nigh (hooray!) and that it's happening RIGHT in the middle of GDC next week (Booo!). We'll be sure to give you the full update as soon as we know. We also got the full breakdown of the 3DS' American launch lineup, which includes some favorites, but mostly leaves out our favorites. Finally, Bulletstorm is out, and it's reviewed. It's good. Plus, Happy Birthday Zelda!
Destructoid show episode 55. Lets go:
Story #1 - Zelda 25th Anniversary! Ah, Zelda. You've meant so much to us over the years, it's hard to believe it's only been 25! For some reason it seems like longer. Our favorite Link game is Link to the Past - whats yours? Let us know in the comments.
Story #2 - iPad 2 coming next week. Faster, lighter, sexier. Front facing camera. Announced March 2nd. Stay tuned.
Story #3 - Minecraft coming to iOS and Android. Not sure how it'll play on the go, but expect it later this year! Your addiction will follow you.
Story #4 - Minecraft getting a documentary… if you donate. Check out the 20 minute clip and get behind this kickstarter project!
Story #5 - Bulletstorm REVIEWED. Spoiler: It's good. There's also DLC coming soon.
Story #6 - Gears of War 3 gets a release date. It's in September.
Story #7 - US 3DS Launch titles revealed. No Zelda, no Metal Gear, and, believe it or not, no Mario.
Story #8 - Gaming at night banned in Vietnam.
