Friday, April 9th, 2010 running time 26:10
With March Madness in full swing, NBA star forward Grant Hill answers your top dugg questions.
Segments
Grant Hill is a star NBA forward for the Phoenix Suns. He’s had an award-winning career since his days in the early 90’s playing for Duke University, where he led them to two back-to-back NCAA championships. He was named co-Rookie of the Year in 1995, and prior to the Suns has played for the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic, where he has been named to the NBA All-Star team seven times. He is widely considered one of the best players in the game, often leading his teams in points, rebounds and assists.
Tony Hawk Skateboard Sale
Grant, I grew up the street from you in Reston (couple blocks up Soapstone). You had a Tony Hawk skateboard that was run over and you tried to sell it to me when I was in the fifth grade. Why did you try to scam me? (just kidding, you admitted it was run over).
I'll never forget seeing you shoot hoops on your garage when you didn't even have a basketball hoop. I met you at Wendell Byrd's basketball camp and you gave awesome advice there that I will also never forget -- practice what you are worse at and pretend you are in the game situation when you are practicing.
Those two pieces of advice have always helped me, thanks from a fellow Seahawk and Restonian.
(Do you remember Yuppieduppie? How about the skateboard? What was your best skateboarding trick? Does Tony Hawk know that you owned a skateboard?)

From someone who has been in the league for quite some time now, compare the NBA from then to now?
(What do you miss? What have the improvements been? How has the internet changed the game? What do you think of Charlie Villanueva tweeting at halftime?)

Is Steve Nash weird?
(What's something odd about Steve Nash that you would never expect from his style of play or from him in interviews?)

Sprite
Does Grant Hill still drink Sprite?
(Have you ever had Sprite before or after a game? Does it help or hurt your game? Are you allowed to be honest about it now that they don't endorse you anymore?)

Trash Talking
Talking trash is a big part of the NBA. What is the most obscene comment you've heard in your tenure as a pro basketball player? You don't have to mention who said it.
(Maybe KG, Rasheed Wallace, Ron Artest, Dennis Rodman?)

After the NBA
What do you see yourself doing after hanging up the sneakers?
(Dancing with the stars? Coaching? Announcer? Politician?)
