About Ozzy Osbourne
Ozzy Osbourne is a multi-platinum selling, Grammy-award winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer with a career that has spanned four decades. He first rose to prominence in 1970 as the lead singer of British heavy metal band, Black Sabbath, who have since sold more than 50 million records worldwide and are known for such classic rock songs as "Crazy Train", "Iron Man" and "Paranoid". He launched his successful solo career in 1979 with his album, Blizzard of Ozz, which went 4x platinum. A pioneer in the genre of heavy metal, Ozzy also created Ozzfest, an all-day metal music festival which is now in its 15th year, starred with his wife and kids in the Emmy award-winning MTV reality show, The Osbournes from 2002 to 2005, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006.
