Peter Jackson, the Academy Award winning director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the upcoming film, The Lovely Bones, answers your questions, posed by film critic James Rocchi.
Peter Jackson made history with The Lord of the Rings trilogy, becoming the first person to direct three major feature films simultaneously. He was well-commended for this feat, winning three Academy Awards, two Golden Globes, three BAFTAs, among other accolades. His other writing, producing and directorial credits include King Kong, Heavenly Creatures, and District 9. His latest film, The Lovely Bones, comes out in January.
