Buckyballs are all the rage this week on Diggnation! We want to know how you play with yours. Plus, find out why the FBI sucks at Photoshop, the dumbest tattoo of all time, class movie moments you didn't know were improv, cat time travel fail & the death metal rooster!
Segments
FBI Sucks at Photoshop
The FBI this week released a digitally-altered image showing what Osama Bin Laden probably looks like now that he’s older. With supposed "cutting edge" photo altering technology, the image bears a striking resemblance to an innocent Spanish politician who is not mistakenly on the most wanted list. Moral of the story? Don't trust the Facebook photo wizard.

iPad? Apparently they didn't schedule it so that this time was when they filmed the next 4 weeks. All I wanted to hear this episode was iPad talk......sad face.

Yup, that's what I was hoping for, but they recorded it the same time as last week. If you look at last weeks episode you can see Alex is wearing the same tee shirt under his other shirt. I'm sure they can't get together that often because Alex lives in LA and Kevin lives in San Fransisco so they record multiple episodes at once. Still I'm disappointed, and I wanted to see if Kevin would try to defend a bloated iPod Touch.

Oh yes, Kevin will defend it. Read his blog, he actually thinks that it can replace a Kindle (or any e-book reader, for that matter).

they tape these weeks in advance now, and all at once, so they run out of interesting things to say... and this episode weighs in at 27 minutes. wow.
i really wish they'd just kill Diggnation already and get Kevin and Alex working on a new project. this one seems to have run its course.

No discussion about the iPad
Wow, well done for such brilliant recording session scheduling. I was really looking forward to the debate between Alex and Kevin over the iPad.I'm not even going to watch this episode.

Yep. All videos. No discussion. Boing episode. It felt like they could not wait to get to the end.

Yeah
I wish they didn't record so much in advance, and preferably not at all. Diggnation is at its core an internet news show, and pre-recording a news show over a month in advance is stupid imo.monty00

With sponsors, the credits, the opening sequence, and the video footage inside the show, we're talking about a little over 20 minutes of new content.
I thought it was an ok episode, but that length is pathetic..

Dam, I was looking forward to an ipad discussion too.
You would have thought in this day and age, it would be possible to have a video conversation between Alex and Kevin over the phone, and then edit it in to the show.... oh wait it is.
