AT&T Wants To Limit iPhone Usage

Heavy smartphone users only represent 3% of consumers, but we take up the most space in the airwaves. They want to create a way - that's still contractually legal in line with net neutrality and FCC regulations - to somehow knock down on the intense iPhone users, in hopes of opening up the network a little. Kevin thinks AT&T just needs to understand this one small concept: the future of the world. It's time to effing upgrade.

Google Wave Opens to 1 Million Users

Yes, we wave. But still... we would love to know what the hell we're supposed to do with it. Product management FTW.

Platinum Starlight HDMI Cables Worth The Money?

Are people really this stupid? You do not have to spend $1800 for cables. A digital signal = 1s and 0s traveling through a wire = they all do the same thing whether it's $2000 or $20.

Facebook Backs Off As Founder's Pictures Go Public

Privacy policies of Facebook are default to public, with the option of setting everything to private. A lot of people are not welcoming the stranger love. The main reason behind this is to aggregate popular trends to provide legit real-time search results. Really though, folks, it's your responsibility in a free service to keep your stuff under wraps.

Hi guys,

I've been watching the show for years and I'm a huge fan. While I was doing the dishes this evening, our cat (Misi) climbed on my computer, selected Diggnation on iTunes, started playing it, and then unmuted the computer so I could hear it. While the rational explanation may be that she just wanted a warm place to nap, I think she chose Diggnation deliberately and therefore earned a place in our home. Here's a photo of her after I walked over to see why Diggnation started playing "randomly" (taken with a crap cell phone camera, sorry).

Keep up the awesome work.

NHTSA

Far too many people do not understand that alcohol, drugs, and driving DO NOT MIX. The message is simple guys: Drinking and Driving? Over the Limit? Under Arrest. Don’t put yourself or others in danger. Law enforcement officials will be out in force all over the country from December 17th through the New Years, cracking down on drunk drivers. Beyond putting your life at risk, you could cost yourself a bundle of time and money: jail time, the loss of their driver’s license, higher insurance rates, and dozens of other unanticipated expenses from attorney fees, other fines and court costs, car towing and repairs, lost time at work, etc. The thing is, drinking and driving can be avoided so easily. You can still go out and have fun, just plan ahead: if you are going to drink, designate a driver, call a taxi, use mass transit, or find some kind of sober ride program.
