A better Digg.com feed [Yahoo Pipes]

I was playing around with yahoo pipes again, and thought I would try and make the best possible Digg.com rss feed. Obviously, "Best" is relative to your personality, but I like technology, science, humor, and the important political things. Essentially, I read digg for the gems of science, not the 98% of ::OBAMA!! HILLARY SUX:: it has become..

I found that I could quite easily filter out most of this by reading the sections of digg individually instead of just the homepage. I did, however, enjoy seeing the homepage stories in my RSS reader, but including all of these feeds left me with about 10 dupes per check.

Introducing, Digg Combined, using Yahoo Pipes!! Essentially, it takes any number (url var) of recent items from digg, filters out the dupes, and appends the category to the title (because the "Source" gets lost through yahoo pipes).

I am posting this here because I found it extremely useful, and this is the only "Forum" full of digg users that actually might care about this kind of thing.

Kevin saying Metallica sucks does not mean their music sucks, or that they can't play, or that their concerts don't rock. It just means "In the end, I will not support them."

I agree, many people took it as him saying their music sucks, the same way at the live show when Alex said that there is no question that they rock, referring to the music, and then everyone booed... Seriously, their music is good, but as people in a changing business world, they suck.

It seems to me they really stick with beer on the show and save the liquor for the live shows. I'd love to see them do some Absinthe or Goldschlagger live.

As far as beers go they need to try Leffe Blonde. If Chimay is King like they claim (which it is really really good), then Leffe Blonde is Emperor.

i thought alex stopped using his falcon nw laptop because the red dell one is easier to travel with. the episode was at his home and still the dell laptop? anyways, just a little thing that's bothering me. i liked looking at the falcon.
