Police Begin To Arrest For Cell Phone Recordings
"Simon Glik, a lawyer, was walking down Tremont Street in Boston when he saw three police officers struggling to extract a plastic bag from a teenager’s mouth. Thinking their force seemed excessive for a drug arrest, Glik pulled out his cellphone and began recording. Within minutes, Glik said, he was in handcuffs." Apparently recording a scene of arrest is causing harm and interfering with the cop's job at ensuring our safety. We disagree; how can surveillance hurt a situation like that? What do you think?

Facebook Records Every Click You Make
We discuss the anonymous interview that The Rumpus had with a Facebook employee regarding the string of information that they keep on file. They used to have a master key to log into any user and the password was... wait for it... Chuck Norris.

Problems with the first two stories
Regarding the 'illegal surveillance' story, you missed the crux of the story. Massachusetts (my home state) is one of twelve so-called 'two-party consent' states, meaning that it is illegal to record speech without the consent of the speaker (in most situations). This doesn't mean that the police were correct to arrest the lawyer in question. No one has ever been convicted in such a case where the microphone was plainly visible.Regarding the exploding box of wine, I wonder why it didn't occur to you to ask if the video was fake. Commonsense says that a box of wine won't explode without help from, you know, explosives and that it wouldn't punch a perfect square in the wall behind it. Somebody took the time to debunk this here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcjV4hLumAc
Anyway, I love the show and I'm sorry my first post was a nit-pick.

Ice Cream.
Kevin, It's called Blue Bell. And you can order online and have it delivered from the little creamery in Brenham. You can order here, it seriously is the best Ice Cream in America. Sorry you have to order 4 half-gallons at a time, but they still are a full half-gallon.

Old Speckled Hen & Other British related items
First of all, Old Speckled Hen isn't supposed to be a glass full of foam, it's ale.Secondly why is Kevin still carrying around his Oyster card, you can only use it in London.
Finally, the Police in the UK have started using the anti-terrorism laws to hassle and arrest people taking still photos, not just videos.

This is getting a serious problem.
