Oh hey, Jim Raynor! Even Kevin is getting himself a little taste of the 'Craft! The launch of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty was a successful one for Blizzard Entertainment. The company announced just a week after its release, the game sold over 1 million copies worldwide in the first 24 hours alone, already making it the best-selling PC game this year. Go 'head, Blizzard!
The Kindle 3 is OUT and they sure look sexy. At 8.5oz and the girth of a pencil, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster today called for Amazon to drop the Kindle's price to $149 to avoid a collision with the iPad. But, may we remind ourselves, that it is an e-reader, not a tablet. The e-paper makes all the difference. Alex then explains how his latest directorial endeavor is going! Check out Neverland.
No time line has been given for when the car will be ready for the road, but we'd expect it to be at least a two-year lead-up to the first production models. Just in case you've forgotten how awesome the 918 Spyder Concept is: it's a 500-horsepower, 78-mpg, 9,200-rpm 3.4-liter V-8 hybrid all-wheel-drive sports car capable of 3.2-second 0-60 mph, 198 mph top speed, 16-mile all-electric range, and looks to stop traffic cold. All for a reasonable 600,000 bones! Alex is considering. Because this is one of the coolest looking cars we've seen in a while.
